Aggie Expressway Provides Mill Creek Residents Faster Commute Times

The recently opened Aggie Expressway stretches from Pinehurst to Magnolia and helps to link the area’s new suburban communities with key roadways. The new expressway gives Mill Creek residents faster commute times to Tomball and other northwest Harris County and Southern Montgomery County.

The positive residential and economic growth in Magnolia over the last several years made the need for infrastructure improvements necessary and the new expressway positions the area for even more growth.

The initial 6.4 mile stretch from FM 1174 to FM 1488 in Magnolia contains three main lanes running in each direction and then reduces down to two lanes just east of FM 149.

Progress continues on the second segment of the tollway from FM 1488 to FM 1774 north of Todd Mission. The 25.5 mile project costing an estimated $798.6 million dollars contains three planned segments that will go from FM 1774 in Pinehurst to Hwy. 105 in Navasota at completion.
